I composed this on the computer using Garageband. I wanted to play with layering tracks and creating a feeling of momentum.

I composed this piece thinking a lot about the 8th symphony of Shostakovich. And I was also thinking of the 5/4 time of Lalo Schifrin's Mission Impossible theme.

I wanted to compose a song in 7/4. I wanted to make a sweet inspiring song about my internal defense attorney needing to hit the books again. I listened to Jerry Goldsmith's theme for Room 222.

Let's see, I put this one together in January of 2011, hence the title. I think I wanted the song to have some coolness, and a bit of drama.
