I started with a lyric that I later abandoned. I want to play with repeated and varied themes, and layering in instruments.

It's the kind of thing a painter would do, to name the colors you see in front of you. But it's also a way to notice, and maybe even remember what you see.

I started this as spy movie music for a friend. It wasn't right for his project. Then I messed with it some more.

Let's see, I put this one together in January of 2011, hence the title. I think I wanted the song to have some coolness, and a bit of drama.
