When no king could claim the throne
Deputies took hold
Joe made ships to sail out west
On a quest for gold

Up North Ozzie asked to join
“Fuse this gilded trek”
But they never left the port
All their ships were wrecked

Lords of milk and honey
Lend to me your ears
Bid us to safe harbors
Ease away our fears

Later Joe did lose his will
Wanting just to rest
Rotting in the town of peace
Where he failed his quest

Wail ye lonesome sailor
Your land has been destroyed
Cleared of house and harbor
All desolate and void

Wail ye ships of David
Your ports shall soon divide
When your docks have parted
How will your crew decide?
