This song is about a guy who every morning wakes up and writes a song. Then the zombie apocalypse bursts, and he, by the force of habit, still wakes up and writes a song every morning. The song is about all those funny changes in his situation he goes through, all sung in a 60’s happy yeah yeah vibe.
The funniest part was recording the disgusting zombie growls at the end. :)
Remote influences: the rhythm from certain Nirvana songs (‘Been a Son’, ‘On a Plain’), and also Redd Kross’ ‘Saragon’.
