just playing music — :)

I set up arpeggio patterns with the supernova II and I set the speed of the arpeggios meaning I get to use 8 different patches to play at the same time then each with the arpeggio pattern I choose. Since 2000 when I bought the supernova II I have set the patterns differently for each of the 8 patches also the speed of the tempo is for all the patterns but the individual pattern speed is set to quarter notes or half notes or whole note triplets. This is how I get each patch or parts settings to play at their various pattern speeds together. This gives me polyrhythms all the time and they are nothing new for me.

This is a performance I made last night. I turned the two performance settings into a whole album. It is starting with the first performance name “ole getts 0 7 0”. not sure why that was named that but it must of been a few years ago when I first made that performance name. Here the “0 7 0” means the 7th patch used is fpr the vocoder effects source I was working with. This is something I should know before playing this performance setting/ As it was the B013 performance setting and its name so then I went to the B014 setting called “crystal SQ ” I changed the “” into “3 stars” for the title on the album. I think I was making the “***”’s thing in performance titles to mean I had updated those performance settings since the midi download of all my settings I made 2 years ago.

This album was made for the sound-in event: “Polyrhythms Syncopations Hemiola Tempo-Rubato Off-Patterned loops: sound-in event 6-9-22 to 6-16-22”
