Programming Max/MSP to randomly send midi note 🎶 signals to logic with preset changes every 25 seconds so that it makes logic play the dexed plug-in… first I recorded these notes and changes,.. I am also using logic midi effects to alter the midi note stream before dexed plays the 🎶 notes.. logic is able to record the three separate note streams that Max 8 can make and send to. I can do this for almost endless amounts of time to see.. mmm hear what Random mixtures might happen.. doing this live to videos I have programming Max’s audio preset changes to create color palette changes at the same time. so sound texture to a new preset and color visuals both change together. once the preset change is recorded it does not change…. but in live performance I never know what will be the next preset played on my korg or in the dexed plugin.
