Way It Goes

This song, Way it Goes, (odh original) forms the second part of a diptych with my other recent song, Storming Woman. They were both written around the same time, and both under the influence of early ZZ Top (and other things). They book-end a relationship, with this one about the demise, Storming Woman about the lusty startup.

I don’t know what it says about me, but the demise part is happier and more upbeat than the startup one.

You don’t have to be a genius to spot the influence of La Grange in this track, but stay with it.

This fits into a genre I like to call "Southern-Fried Boogie Blues," of which ZZ Top is the definitive masters. LOVE IT!!! Great job -- Rock on!
