my oldest asked if i would remove the dirty animal video from youtube because “it’s embarrassing dad”!

i asked my girls to sing the chorus but they where too embarrassed lol.

We used to hold hands
And skip and dance down the street
Making up rhymes with our names
Count to ten
And play silly games
I’d lift you up onto my back
Or push you round in a shopping cart
We’d laugh out loud at words
Because they sounded so wrong
We’d suck on liquorice
From the sherbet dabs
That we bought at Tony’s shop
On the way home from school
But not now
