to them life has no value
poisoning like you never knew
i can’t believe the trust you give
to those who could care less how you live

is it hard
to believe
the real truth

your future
very bleak
for those like you

don’t you know
they poison
all you consume

guinea pigs
unto those
who serve you

don’t be blind
open minds
will save you

stop the crime
or in time
we die too soon

the world is about to drive me out of my mind
those in charge don’t care about mankind
not enough love and no humanity to go round
greed and hate but not enough compassion found
close minded people defending the lies
wanting to silence the ill and the poor’s cries

in my mind where peace reigns
unlike the world of the insane
i dream of brotherhood
things don’t turn out like they should
never ending cruelty abounds
but not where love is found
if raised, be it a gentle hand
be a lady and a gentleman

stand up
for peace

break down
the hate
before
it’s too late

let compassion be your goal
