This is the full version of the "crowd chatter" sound collage I used as the intro to "Shut Up, Thanks" - the track consists of several sped up tracks of a text to speech program reciting nonsense layered over each other.

A couple of the loops from "Haugh Vis Roumgh" slowed down to 70 bpm (which the lowest bpm Sony ACID will allow).

For the vocals, I sang improvised nonsense syllables, then played them backwards.

The subtitle is because years earlier I did a totally different piece called "Ann (OMG)".

For whatever reason, pitch-shifting kazoo and running it through a lot of reverb is just fun for me. Working title: "Cirkus".

Inspired by "Murder Mystery" by The Velvet Underground, with lyrics adapted from posts on Craigslist's endlessly fascinating "Missed Connections" section. I wanted to put positive posts in one speaker and negative in the other.

Featuring Al on noise guitar. Working title: "Drones".

A little bit more calm than the surrounding material, but I thought it was a good way to close things out.

There's some more self-sampling going on here - for instance the screams are from the end of "HoOSHA!" and the loop that sounds like synth strings is a cut up part of "Orchestra X-1".
