I wrote this about the band I was in during my college days. We were going to change the name from Desert Skys to ? One suggestion was pudeckuferew. Lets just say it means more in the mirror!

Wanted to write a blues song. This is what I came up with. Not special reason to be blue, just everyday blues.

I read a story about guys that surf in lake Superior in the winter. Are you crazy? That was my inspiration to open the surf shop.

Spent my $ on booze and women. The rest I just wasted.

Inspired by John Koch. He was near retirement age. I asked what he was going to do after he retired. He said he wanted to harvest wheat in Kansas. He passed away before he made it to retirement.

This is the 1st song I ever wrote. Same old story, some girl, she left, you know the routine.

Had a friends wife suggest the title. She said This sounds like a counrty song "That when I thought Tulsa was in Texas"

I remember a sign at an A&W saying 7 day without A&W makes one Weak. How true, How true.
