This was written on piano, then arranged for guitars. If memory serves, it took two guitars and a bass to play the chord voicings I used on the keyboard.

An acoustic number partially because I couldn't come up with an effective full-band arrangement. This song dates back to a phase where everything I was writing involved several long sections built around strange and elaborate chords progressions…

After writing these lyrics years ago I realized how embarrassingly passive-aggressive and entitled they sounded. But there were a few nice turns of phrase I didn't want to lose, so I decided to just own up to it, hence the subtitle.

Just a brief coda to the album. The guitar is in an open tuning (Open D or open G, I forget which) and the percussion is just me slapping my lap.

Hmmm. Guess I never got around to programming drums for this one.

Straight forward pop rock. I like the chord progression on the chorus.

I think I wrote the music for this in, like, 2002. Then tweaked it bit by bit until I got around to finishing it in 2009 or so.
