A song about living in the shadows of others and finally seeing the light through the trees and taking a stand for yourself.

This song originated from another old demo I found on a tape dating from 1988. This one is about the evolution of a working stiff at the moment he says fuck it and realizes he's part of the corporate machine.

The first version of this is on Songs of The Heart. This version was written around 9/11 and is a plea for America to hold on to God, not move away from Him.

This was written about people who point the finger and condemn others, blind to their own sins.
