I wrote this to be sung by a dear, now-departed friend who sadly committed suicide while working on a new album of very exciting material. I have a whole mess of “dead Kevin” songs which are in the wrong key, which I’ve been avoiding like the plague. This one had been demo’d first before he died, so it’s escaped relatively unscathed. Here it is in a slightly renewed version. Rest in peace, Kevin.
