Through the Pitch of Darkness

There’s something more beautiful than the sunrise, the sunset, and the smell of the rain.
There’s something more peaceful than the voice of a mother, a hug from a father,
and it’s the sight of the Lord.

There is no one here like our sweet Saviour, Jesus;
A caring, divine One who laid down His life for His dear friends.
Today, tomorrow, and the days of the past, He remains the same;
A gentle guide through this pitch of darkness.
