Hide All the Places I've Been

Snow has covered the branches
The warm sun sets red through the trees
There’s a crow on the rooftop
And a magpie that eavesdrops
Behind the window in front of me
Smoke rises up from the chimney
The world looks so peaceful, serene
My footprints will show
All the places I go
But will hide all the places I’ve been
The church bells stir up the silence
I worship the snow with a prayer
The snowflakes determined
To hide all my footprints
And cover me layer by layer
Smoke rises up from the chimney
The world looks so peaceful, serene
My footprints will show
All the places I go
But will hide all the places I’ve been
