Home has no Boundaries
rinyville
These walls which surround me
No longer protect
They obsess and they haunt me
And no longer connect
The door, once an entry
Now broken and wrecked
In the parlour, the pantry
The windows are cracked
Home has no boundaries
But I’m chained to these walls
With some moths in the drapery
And some rats in the hall
I once built this manor
I held on to its keys
But the nails and the hammer
Drove me to my knees
These tools which surround me
Once built a figure, a frame
Now they’re there just to haunt me
To lay burden, to blame
Into walls, into hinges
I hammer the nails
Till my home, every inch is
Fragile and frail
Home has no boundaries
But I’m chained to these walls
With some moths in the drapery
And some rats in the hall
I once built this manor
I held on to its keys
But the nails and the hammer
Drove me to my knees
I will fly through the windows
Escape through the cracks
These walls are just limits
That no longer protect
I’ll get rid of the memories
Demolish the signs
Abandon the agony
The unknown is mine
Home has no boundaries
I will tear down these walls
Kill the moths in the drapery
And the rats in the hall
I will ruin this manor
Get rid of the keys
The nails and the hammer
Will drive home to its knees
