We're Coming for You (2020 Version #2)

Now that the October album in a month thingie is finished I can get back to the better (not necessarily good) stuff. The Quarantine Tunes, volume 2.

This song is wicked old. I wrote it for the 2020 RPM Challenge, all of nine months ago. It is one of those songs that I suspect is more fun to play than to listen to. I like it though. It’s got a nice energy to it (though was the energy better on the original? I can’t decide). I may have hurt myself singing this as it’s kind of on the shouty side all the way through. Lyrically it’s fitting to upload this today as we are one week away from the 2020 presidential election where we will do our best to rid the Federal Government of the fascists and their collaborators. This song is about a particular nazi prick. I won’t name names but it’s Bill Barr.

The rhythm guitars are all Gibson ES-335 Pro into a Klon KTR overdrive pedal and then an ABY splitter into two amps, a Vox AC15 and a Fender Bassbreaker 15. The lead guitars are exactly the same setup except there is a Malaise Forever Black Lives Matter overdrive pedal right after the Klon.
