2021 50/90 Song Number 45
Eh. Not really feeling this one anymore. It’s not terrible as a big dumb rocker, but it lost me somewhere. The mix sounds pretty ratty to my tired brain right now. Maybe I’ll like it more in the morning.
All of the guitar tracks are my Les Paul Standard. The Rhythm used an MXR Phase 90 into a Mooer Elec-Lady (or e-lady, or whatever they call it now) into a Wampler Plexi Drive Mini into a Vox AC15. Lead tracks are a Dunlop Cry Baby into a Ryra the Klone into a Keeley D&M Drive into a Fender Bassbreaker 15.
Chorus
This time around
I’ll do what’s right for me
Without a sound
I’ll have what has to be
Verse 1
You carve away the anger
and then what’s left
become some sort of stranger
its for the best
Verse 2
at quarter after midnight
you take the plunge
you hope that it comes out right
how can you judge
Verse 3
there was no invitation
you never heard
and constant hesitation
without a word
