Dudleytown Just Can't Catch a Break

Songs in 6/8 time should be faster, shouldn’t they? This one is slooow. I think in previous RPM Challenge projects this would have been a sludgy metal song. Not this year though. The lyrics are about a ghost town in Connecticut where things started going wrong, paranormally speaking, as soon as the town was founded. The guitars are a Gibson SG through a Fender Deluxe Reverb.

Oh, and did I over do it on the guitarmonies? No? Didn’t think so.

Is it the family or the town
Dudleytown just can’t catch a break
Everything is lost and found her
Dudleytown is cursed forever

Dudley came here from England
and he founded the town
Now it’s falling apart and
everything’s going wrong

Now the forest takes over
and the people are gone
all the questions unanswered
what could have gone so wrong
