Every Little Thing
Robert James
I really have lost whatever tiny amount of singing ability I used to have, right? Who knew that my vocal skills were dependent on not losing a ton of weight. I didn’t see that coming.
This is a rare example of a song that I like more after mixing it, even though the mix is pretty shoddy.
The rhythm guitar is a Les Paul, the lead is an SG. The rhythm guitar amp is a Fender Deluxe Reverb and the lead is Fender Bassbreaker 15’s direct output with cabinet emulation. Both parts used an Analog Man King of Tone overdrive pedal.
Chorus
Every little thing (4x)
Verse 1
Look away - your last chance
final say - one more glance
Here today - gone too soon
Little grey - one blue moon
Verse 2
left behind - One more chance
Nevermind - second glance
going blind - in a trance
undefined - song and dance
Ending
So what
Who cares
There’s no
one there
If that’s
the way
you can’t
compare
