Why don’t I write songs in ¾ more often? This one is kinda fun to play. I’m not sure if it will make the final cut for the RPM Challenge album or not, but it’s done and that’s what matters right now.

The guitars are a Gibson SG into a Fender Deluxe Reverb. There is a Wampler Tumnus overdrive pedal in there as well. A couple of months ago I decided to restrain myself to that setup because I wanted to have a Klon style feel to all of the guitars. Now that I’ve recorded some leads I’m thinking there just isn’t enough umph there. I might have to crank the amp and get the tubes adding some gain as well. I wanted to do that from the outset, but getting time alone in the house is difficult, and what time I get is usually reserved for vocals, not the 110 decibels or so my amp can generate. Oh well, enough gear talk for one night.
