This one is unusual for me in that I kinda like the melody but the riff is kind of a throw away. It’s almost always the other way around… or more likely I just hate it all. This is noteworthy for this year’s RPM Challenge in that it was the last vocal recorded. That’s always a cause for celebration for me. The guitars are all a Gibson SG into a Fender Deluxe Reverb.

I can’t seem
to fall asleep
I can’t breathe
or function at all
There’s no rest
I’m in too deep
I can’t see
whatever is wrong with me

So as the night
creeps in around me
I close my eyes
and nothing happens to me

stare at the ceiling
walls close in on me
I can’t escape it
I don’t know what to do now

I might be dying
I might be breaking down
I fall apart
I don’t know what to do now
