I added this silly little thing to the National Solo Album Month project as an after thought because I was worried I wasn’t going to have enough music to qualify. I absolutely would have, but I am still glad I did this one. It’s silly, it’s kinda dumb, but if I were to actually release this as an album this would definitely be on the first single, though I haven’t decided if it would be the A side or the B side yet.

I have no idea what the lyrics are about. What the hell was I thinking about when I wrote it? I was 75% asleep at the time and I haven’t the faintest idea. Video games? Maybe? No clue.

The guitars are all Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s and the amp for all tracks is a Vox MV50 Clean. The rhythm tracks used a Ryra the Klone and a Keeley D&M Drive. The rotary effect on the cleanish tracks was added in the mix. The leads used a Crybaby Wah, the Ryra, and a Wren and Cuff Super Russian.

Verse 1
I think we have it this time
Gone slightly out of our minds
Right at the peak of our prime
No telling what we might find

Verse 2
We may have gone a bit far
Too late to guess where we are
Maybe we lower the bar
And somehow shoot for the stars
