The Price (Mac Mix)

The twist for the June music project is that everything is recorded and mixed on an iOS device (all but two on an iPad) and then remixed on the full Mac version of GarageBand.

This is the first Mac mix.

I worked the riffs to this one out on the iPad using the built in “software instruments” in GarageBand. When the time came to play some of them for real (the chorus, specifically) I couldn’t do it. I had to practice the riff quite a bit before I could even attempt it, and in the end I had to comp a few takes together.

My guitar playing should be getting better with all the playing I’ve been doing, but it’s getting worse. Oh well.
