The World is Ending
Robert James
2024 50/90 Challenge song idea number 32 becomes finished song number 21.
I like this one. Most of the ideas I’ve been crapping out this summer that are in a straight time signature have been weak, but this one is fun. I think I might want to re-think the wah-wah section toward the end, but other than that I am pleased with this one right now.
The rhythm guitars are my Les Paul Custom into a Ream McCoy Customs RMC10 into a Klon KTR into an Analogman King of Tone into a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails into both a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and a Vox MV50 Clean running direct output with built in cabinet emulation. The lead guitar is my Les Paul standard into the RMC10 into a Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian into the KTR into the Vapor Trails into the same two amps.
Chorus
The world is ending
The world is ending
let in the chaos
They’re all pretending
Verse 1 & 3
I’m telling you now
the truth will come out
I do not know how
I do not have doubt
Verse 2
It seems so simple
There’s nothing to do
Just read the symbols
Just please and thank you
Break
It turns out fine
It turns out fine
