My gut is telling me that when I listen to this version of this song back to back with the one I did this summer I am going to prefer this one. That’s kind of the goal for these re-recording projects I’m forcing on myself. Just make things a smidge better than they were.

I feel like this song is basically a straight ahead rock song except that it’s in 7/8. Can a song be straight ahead rock if it’s not in 4/4? The universe may never know.

Guitars are all Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s. Amps are all Fender Bassbreaker 15. Pedals on the rhythm tracks are a Ryra The Klone into a Keeley D&M Drive. The lead track is the Ryra into a Wren and Cuff Super Russian.

Chorus
Grasp the weight of it
there’s so much guilt
Every bit of it
must be rebuilt

try to brace yourself
for what’s to come
its too late for that
just get it done

Verse 1
How ever you slice it
it simply won’t hold
not able to tramsit
what needs to be told
Goodbye forever

Verse 2
Whatever you’re feeling
its not even close
its too devestating
can’t be diagnosed
There’s no escaping
