I was thinking about how powerful, yet tenuous and fragile memories are. I have no idea why I’ve been fixated on this, Once there are no memories of you, you just don’t exist anymore. Yet, while people still remember you, it’s almost like a version of you is alive in alternate realities all over the place. “You” become the you they remember, whether it’s the “you” that you think you are, or not.
