This is the final track of “The Nowhere Advent Project.” A “dark album” created as a personal creative project to record one Christmas song a day in Nov. of 2011 during a time of great personal turmoil. The songs were then given away free, with people asked (not forced, asked) to give money to a charity of their choice. This is one of the better tracks to come out of that effort. “Go Tell It On the Mountain” is a negro spiritual: i.e., it is a take on the incarnation written by people who at the time were still physically enslaved and considered less than human beings. I’m pretty much not worthy to be able to sing this song (when the person who write it is nameless) but am proud to be able to. Enjoy!
