That picture is of my studio. I’ve moved around a lot in my life, and I always end up rebuilding something very similar looking to it.
This short track was made in 2 evenings. I was traveling, away from my studio and just on cheap earbuds.
I wanted to fulfill a quick idea I had watching some movie that had a Hendrix soundtrack. One of those “what if?…” moments: “What if Hendrix had some dirty beats behind it?…”
I wasn’t originally going to include it here, but I promised my friend Hubert I’d keep it on the album as it’s a favorite of his.
