Trying to tell myself what it is I should do
Trying to understand what it takes to be this man
Who’s confused about his issues and just doesn’t understand

At all the lights that surround
I can see the cars go by down the hill
People carrying on with their lifes untouched by my ills
I can see that the world out there carries on
While I’m sat here wondering what the hell it is that I I have done

I start the car gun the throttle
And I start to drive
I can see in the distance for miles and miles
Down the tarmac I twist through the bends as I watch this world flow without end
