Re-working of an essay of the same title by William Wilson, from “Breaking the Sound Barrier: A Critical Anthology of the New Music.” edited by Gregory Battock. This was itself subjected to operational procedures such as: randomization by creating small sections on a mini-disc, which was used for the initial recording, and playing back in shuffle mode, with the resulting segments later pitch-shifted in Audacity by random amounts. Submitted to Sound-In for 28/1 - 4/2/2021.
