A recording from my installation The Piano Travels at the NAiSA North Media Arts Centre in South River, Ontario (https://naisa.ca/). An old upright piano, with micro-radio transmitters transmitting to various radios around the room. Sounds are picked up with contact microphones, guitar pick-ups, and even a couple of the micro-transmitters wedged into the strings and acting like contact mics. Submitted to Sound-In “A Pulse” for 3-10/2/2022.
