Time and the Machine

Reworking of a recording from six years ago to fit in with this week’s Sound-In (21-23/3/2019) theme. Original recording was of an old paper tape winder - a device from the stone-age of computerdom - that underwent two different time-related transformations. First, it was stretched five times, but even I couldn’t really justify listening to it for fifteen minutes so it was then sped up five times to return to the original three minute length.
