Another Sound-In piece for 12-19/11/2020. This time, a recitation, three times, of a strange phrase my mother was wont to use on occasion, that I don’t even know if she knew its origin. A brief search has shown that it may be from a parody of an old hymn, though details are sketchy. I attempted to read it in a style somewhat akin to Ivor Cutler.
