Four recordings of various lengths overlapped. Sound sources were various tree branches/trunks - either still vital, or broken off by means unknown - that were sounded either by bowing (with the Jim-bow) or scraped/struck against each other and picked up by a single contact microphone. Apart from l/r panning to obtain a stereo image, no alteration was made to the sounds as recorded. Submitted to Sound-In “Wild Things” for 16-23/9/2021.
