A little ditty from my sound-check at a recent performance by the ensemble Lorde Awesome. Casio DH-100 digital horn controlling Roland SE-02 synth, followed by tenor sax, over a bed of crowd noise. Submitted to Sound-In for 10-12/10/2019.

Roland SE-02 into EHX Stereo Memory Man into Zoom RFX-300. The result sounds a little like the off-station AM radio I usually listen to when driving. Submitted to Sound-In for 10-12/10/2019.

Combination of two different recordings: one is from a stairwell of the building I live in while renovations were being done to the outside; all reverberation is natural; the other is created on the Roland SE-02.

In this one, also created for Sound-In 18-22/9/2019, both the rhythmic and melodic content seem to be irregular. Like the other two pieces recorded today, this was also taken directly from the Roland SE-02 with no intervention on my part in any way.

Less grungy and somewhat more funky version of "She Comes..." by way of considerable filtering. Created for Sound-In for 18-22/9/2019.

Roland SE-02 controlled by Casio DH-1oo digital horn. Not sure if the sequencer was running on this one or not; no step lights, but it sounds like something is happening. Submitted to Sound-In for 12-14'9/2019.

One of six pieces created by placing contact mics under either side of the bridge of a cümbüş (Turkish stringed instrument a bit like a banjo). One side came from a Zoom RFX300 with a feedback loop, the other went to a Zoom H4n digital recorder…
