Festive Overture
A symphonic overture. The piece has a fast, rhythmically propulsive ‘A’ section, a contrasting meditative ‘B’ section, and a recap with some extensions.
This piece was a finalist prize winner in the 2008 ‘Realize Music’ contest, an international composition contest. The judges were John Corigliano and Carter Burwell.
