Thank U Laser Jesus

World War Nine

Shouts out to Laser Jesus & his comrade-at-arms Robot Moses for giving us the traction we needed to pull this off.

This song is an effort to blend influences of beat-boxing, freestyle lyrical flows, Tuvan throat singing, & space-age jazz lounge stylistics into something that is eminently listenable if not always completely satisfying.

The struggle is real, though. The bass player on this track said he was “going acrost (!) the street to get some cigs and a Jack Cheddar Tornado, and he never came back, so I ( Jack Merlot ) had to fill in the parts we hadn’t recorded yet. Bass player never came back, we figure he’s in some kinda suburban utopia again & prolly not coming back anytime soon.
