Johnny T ran through fields and he climbed mountains
Johnny knew what life could hold
He flew kites
And the skies were all wide open
Don’t that cloud look just like the beggars nose?

He’s getting a little lighter lately
That God damned cough sounds so cold

Ten years gone
We’re all left to be hoping
Open door, and walk right out
And a runner’s legs can’t hold up something
That’s now broken
I guess we’ll have to sit the season out

But I’m asking a lot of questions lately
Like why does God have to be so cold?
