Homecoming

This is probably the final composition for this quite extraordinary year, where I have produced over 30 pieces since March during the enforced hibernation!!

This one I asked the good lady to come up with a title and image….she immediately saw a Jane Austen-esque lady waiting at the country house window for the love of her life to appear from the distance and up the wide carriageway to be in her arms after such a long time….but all to briefly for him to then be on his way again.
