This song was inspired and is based on a single, short sound clip I made of scissors snipping a piece of paper, which somehow grew to become an evolving, melodious journey.

Progressive Electronic Aficionado

I play two instruments – mouse and qwerty keyboard – and lack a formal music education, but compensate with an insatiable thirst for tinkering and by relying on the conviction that I know Good Music when I hear it.

Discerning listeners will notice that my songs strive to take them on sonic journeys with evolving, multi-layered music, and that I tend to use melodic beats to create rhythmic structure.

I rarely have a plan when starting a new composition. I typically begin with a diverse and somewhat arbitrary set of instruments and then joyfully tinker until something interesting emerges. I’m always amazed when I finish because it seems as though the melody is not my own design, but that of some higher power who knew all along what was to be created.
