Metamere

This was a more experimental composition for the Deluge Discord group challenge for October 2024, to make a song using no overlapping sounds. I started with an arp, then a structured beat, then a drone sound, then made some combinations of them with sliced samples, and played around with the tempo. The percussion samples are from the vintage drum machine by Maestro, the Rhythm King. I made the piano patch using a soundfont from Sim-City, and ended with an altered sample of Yoshi from SSBM. So yeah, a bit odd, but it was a fun one-day project.
