Zaraita Isekai
Metamere
I wanted to make a track that represented my construction and exploration of fantasy worlds and stories in my imagination, both in daydreams and night dreams. I started by taking some vocal samples from a song called Zaraita Bushi by Suzumeno Tears, a Japanese group, and made a kit from them on the Deluge groovebox. I played around with them a bunch, and ended up just using looping and delay effect to make vocal drones for most of the song, with one more intense section. Then I made a beat with my taiko drum kit. I made an intro section, some chord progressions, and more drones using a Minilogue xd brass section preset which I had already used for the Drone Orchestra track this month. I then played with the Arturia Stage 73 Rhodes emulation live to record sequences into the Deluge, and made some adjustment and additions afterwards. I built up an arrangement in the Deluge, then recorded it in a few passes, and mixed and mastered in Audacity.
