I locked myself/was snowed into a cabin for a month on the shores of lake Michigan, and turned it into a one man studio. Piblokto is a form of hysteria mainly found in eskimos, sometimes triggered by isolation during which the victim will find themselves able to perform great feats of strength, will run around naked in snow without dying, and will basically go apeshit for about a month and then wake up with no recollection of it happening. This song, and the album that followed, draws upon themes of isolation, loneliness, madness, and loss (but its totally not depressing, guys!) and I figured the title and song-story was appropriate.
