[Lyrics]
We knights entered a patch, a swath calm but eerily so
Spotted a peaceful abode or at least we thought it was so, small castle
Greeted by maidens, keeper matrons of the inn converted from a fortress from within
Herein we would stay the night ’til morning
We helped the ladies clean up the place
One room, mopping the floors
On hands and knees, one starts gladly with ease playing a game
Says, “before the floor’s dry, see if I can say the greek alphabet”
She did, unlockеd the curse, all went alight
Ghost animals from thе dead sprang up
Monsters who rang tough, causing chaos
Here’s a problem to straighten out
Locked away the goof jester, Chiz L’Daugue, so he won’t go off
Then we had swords drawn, shouldn’t have been effective, but they did ward them off
They retreated, down to where the floors were creaking
All was serene again, “let us get some sleep then”
I guess it shows, though we didn’t kill a soul, even they don’t like violent motions
