All that land you use to feed animals
Could be used to grow crops to feed the malnourished, undernourished poor and famished
The starving, the world’s hungry
You didn’t have to kill the Amazon for hamburger
Or deplete our resources for cheeseburgers
You are the world hunter
Killing this great big living ball that is our home
What goes into your sausage pizza or chicken sandwich?
What did it take to get them to you?
What did it take from this place that made you?

[Verse 2]
You could have a pound of steak or sixteen pounds of grain
You could have spaghetti for days and let some starving people get repast
Or have steak tonight and take the food from out their hands
The rich foods take much to get to you
All of which can be given to who never get food
All the energy and water and grain
To get you cheesy meat and scrambled eggs
Can feed more people than who eat those nasty things

So the choice is between foods that leave some needy
And foods that reach the needy
Animal or plant foods
Savage fool or master
Bastard or magical
Asshole or fabulous
Let the people starve or give the people carbs
Piss away the grain potential
Or use it based on providence
