A Strange Kind of Joy

A happy kind of electro pot-pourri.

The process:

  • find a sound, noodle in Ab
  • find another sound, develop a compatible noodle
  • repeat a couple of times
  • program a beat
  • add replicant
  • find other sounds for a B section
  • find more sounds and repeat
  • figure out a basic arrangement
  • add guitar
  • add GR3 effects so the guitar sounds less like a guitar
  • mix the mess (might still be too messy)
  • serve

takes a bit of time to develop, but it keeps getting better and better as it unfolds. 2nd part is really good..(clap sounds too dry, for a piece so bubble-ish)

Nice! Bits of this remind me of some of the more electronic stuff that Anthony Phillips did back 30 years ago

Saved!
