Lost and Not Found
I’ll go outside to the car again
And bring all the groceries in
Took too much for one man to take
In one trip and with only two hands
So I slip in the snow
And how could I know
It fell to the ground
And they’re nowhere to be found
So I’ll go outside and I’ll look again
To the place where it all began
I love how the snow when it’s clean and fresh
Can bury the ugly and dead
So I slip in the snow
And how could I know
It fell to the ground
And they’re nowhere to be found
So when the spring comes and the blanket has left
I look for what’s lost and not found
I’ll go outside in the morning I guess
And there it is right on the ground
And I slipped in the snow
And how could I know
It fell to the ground
And they’re nowhere to be found
