Trying to capture that SRV vibe.

Recorded over 10 yrs. Ago on my Zoom 10 track. It was the second tune I cut just messin with the chord changes. It has a very urban vibe and reminded me of cruising lake shore drive in Chicago.

This was also recorded over 10 yrs. Ago. I dig the middle eastern flavor chords and tones. It was my acoustic straight into the multitrack via a Dean Markley pickup.

I wrote this piece in memory of my step brother, who passed away earlier this year. The title is his middle name.

While I was practicing the chord changes to 'The Boxer' by Paul Simon...I noticed chord similarities to Blind Faith's classic 'In The Presence Of The Lord' song. So I thought, hey, why not? So I did a quickie, 1st take of it, and this is it folks…

It's a part of the song I'm working on, maybe the rest of it lands in the garbage can where it belongs to. The vocal part's intention was to be a capella, but the piano impro is suitable... somehow.

So I was locked in the broom-cupboard, checking out some old songs that need recording. I'd just picked one and then suddenly this thing came out of nowehere. It started with one of those guitarist doodles that other musicians love so much…
